From the time I was five years old, I began working alongside my father in his tool business. As the youngest of four children, I was eager to start ferruling screwdriver handles, a rite of passage for all of my father’s children.
Twenty years later, I still have a passion for creating quality, American made tools. In 2017, I had an opportunity to venture into the wood carving market, where I met the founder of Dockyard Tools. I was able to learn the manufacturing process of these tools and eventually revitalize the company to what it is now.
Dockyard Tools USA specializes in manufacturing quality carving tools, used especially in the wood carving industry. Our tools have been used by some of the best wood carvers in the nation, and that matters to us. Based in Northern Michigan, we take pride in creating American made tools that people can put their trust in.
